I can of course, ask any questions for you.

Many gems from Sunny ji's collection can be heard at www.sunny78rpmmusic.com

Mr. Sunny is an avid gramaphone and 78 RPM record collector. He is very passionate about his hobby. A very nice gentleman. Since Gramaphones and 78 rpms are not my 'cup of tea', i have not visited his home yet.

Yes, He's a really nice gentleman and Its quite near your place.
He shared this information about the location to give an idea about distances:-
Hill station-Vagamon is 25 K.M. in the eastern direction and back waters at Kottayam/Kumarakom are 40/50 K.M. to the west.
Museum is near (only 500 meters) the state highway connecting these two places.

It will be great to meet you there. You can perhaps give a paper/talk too on various machines. I am sure everyone would love that.

Yes he has some vinyl too. I could spend a day or two in the Beatles and Jim Reeves shelfs alone.
There's so much for 78 rpm lovers. One whole section had just 12 inch 78 rpms with symphonies!

As promised Here are some of the photos.

Had honour of meeting many collectors.

Met Mr Shafi of Calicut who himself collects and has a shop repairing machines called Gramophone world. His car has a banner of it!

Saw a rare photo of Bangalore's famous record and gramophone shop Seetaphone with owners there. The owner Mr Murthy gave the world's smallest pocket gramophone to the museum.
