Yes, you need to look for amplifiers which have HT bypass/Unity gain function.

Yes you sure can. What is your HT Source? The source will act as your Preamp connected to an input on the integrated amp. Set the Integrated amp to an easy to set volume position like 12 o'clock position. Remember to reduce it once done watching a movie.

I am using Arcam SA30 for the same function - IA with HT bypass.

AVR is Denon 4700 and Klipsch r-600f floor standing speakers
Excellent for movies. Good for music, but not satisfied. Any recommendations to improve stereo on denon 4700 or stereo amp is needed?

For music, its always bookshelf speakers. BS speakers positioned properly and paired with suitable sub will outperform towers.
A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
