Thats indeed very interesting, especially for the price and the offered features. Any experience with this one?

I have been avoiding new DAC releases in the under 1000$ category for a while. This sounds interesting though. I would still prefer two PCM1704 DACs instead of one integrated solution with balanced outputs on a single die.

Might have to go down to the local stereo shop and A/B it against my DAC. Cheap way to go Balanced though. Should give the DACmagic a run for its money, which is frankly not a good DAC.
The headphone out is a joke though. I can see why they put it in..make it a all in one solution for desktop based systems.

If the Pcx 20% offer holds good on the music hall then it is quite an attractively priced DAC.
