iPad 2 from Malaysia Cheaper?

Would you know if getting an iPad from Malaysia would be cheaper than India? If yes, do you have any recommendations on where to shop there?

What pitfalls should I be aware of?

Ipad 2 cheaper in M'sia.
Ipad 2 32GB 3G is 32k there and around 40k here.

Just check for a brand new piece , sealed with Apple warranty.
You may have to pay VAT at the store and customs at the airport, if detected.

Anywhere in the world, iPAD is expensive when considering VFM featues. A netbook is a better option than iPad and will cost only half as much.

Want an expensive mistress? Go for iPad. I will pay no more than US$ 200 for an iPAd and that too reluctantly.

Hi,

iPad's in Malaysia/Singapore are definitely cheaper compared to India, and it's best to buy it directly from the Apple store. And you can get your VAT back at the airport (just confirm at the airport). I got my iPad2 from Australia and got 10% VAT back at the airport. Brought it completely box packed without any customs problem. If you'r picking up only 1, there's absolutely no problem with customs.

any apple product is cheaper in malaysia then singapore. i was doing the research for my second ipad2 (as my wife conveniently took mine...grrrr) so KL is quite cheap compared to India/Singapore. plus if you get the VAT refund then it really brings it all down

why go for expensive HIFI....its all about usability too right. your ears never tell you that they need best quality stuff. so then why put in so much money there
