Hi FMs,
I am planning to buy a projector and the budget is 2.5 lakh. I am considering two projectors.
1. Epson TW 9400 (Lamp based)
2. Benq W4100i (4 LED)
Since 9400 is lamp based and it is old(released in 2019) I am wondering if it's still a good buy for the price(1.8 lakhs) as there are new Benq 4 LED models that has long life and advanced features like filmmaker mode, HRD 10+ and local/global contrast enhancer, HDMI 2.1 etc. Epson on the other hand has high native contrast ration and black levels are far better than Benq. And, Epson has lens memory, motorized lens shift and it's long throw distance.
3D is equally important for me and I liked it more on W4100i due to its high lumens(3200).
Service wise, I am not happy with Benq service as I am struggling a bit to change the lamp of my current projector Benq TH585. Not sure how the service of Epson.
Please let me know your thoughts.
