I had ordered a Kaiboer directly from Trans Innovators, mumbai. After i got my box I ordered for another one for my friend.
I must say the service is excellent and so is the support.
The unit sometimes does not detect the internal HDD and the remote is sluggish. Absolutely no problem with either of the two flaws but out of curiosity i downloaded a firmware upgrade and patched my machine. :-( bad move it was and the remote stopped working. (there are diff patches for white & black remote). Anyway I called sunil and he offered to send me a black remote promptly. Within 24 hours he also sent me the right firmware.

One tip for people who loose the remote. Use any USB keyboard, it works fine. Also since there is 1 USB connector, you can use a hub to connect more than 1 USB device. It works fine. Now my remote is working fine.
A very capable player and after 3-4 years it won't pinch to throw away this low cost player.
