Klipsch RF3 floorstanders

Hi,
I got a offer for Klipsch RF3 floorstanders for 30k and MORE than 5years old.

How are this speakers? the reviews which i read on the net was good but all were around 10years old.

Is it worth paying 30k for this MORE than 5years old stuff?

Any suggestions?

Modern world, has some demo RF 62 and 52 in stock for little more price. 5 years old and 30k is little toomuch I think.

well they can be compared to Rf82 which i believe retail around 70K, so
1- if they are in good condition,
2- you like them after an audition
3- and you can do a bit of bargaining, then
you should go ahead and pick them.

4years back i sold a 3 year old Klipsch RF3-II for 24 K with a monster speaker cable free..


check if this is a Mark II or Mark 1 .

Both speakers are from different points of view / school of thought. To understand what i am saying is only possible once you audition both of them & realise/experience it. BTW, what kind of music do you listen to?

I listen to melodious songs with good orchestra and mild beats.

I am searcching for a floorstanders for my DENON 1908.

I like Klipsh and KEF brands. Can someone sugggest me Klipsch RF3 or KEF Q55.2?

Audition of both would be a problem due to its locations.

Are you sure ? I think for your kind of listening , you should look for more balanced speakers like EPOS and DALI series.
