I have a decent digital collection of mp3 and flac files but many of them, especially mp3 files are without file information. Earlier just adding metadata through Windows would do but as almost every playback device these days has a screen, Album Art has also become important. Is there any tag editor or library management tool that can work with minimal information of file and pull rest of it from the Internet thus completing missing information and also creating a well tagged and sorted library? What are the preferred tools of fellow forum members and why?

Will take that back. Getting a hang of it. Right now tagging stuff. Final verdict will be given if it performs in expected manner across devices.

Try MusicBee. It's player cum tag editor. Auto download of tags/album art is a great feature.
