Live Shazam??

I have an Ubuntu based spare laptop that I like to use to display information on current song being played on my music system. I like to keep this beside my amplifier and it will have internet connection. Now my question is is there is any website that continuously listens to the song being played and displays information on it? Any clue shall be greatly appreciated.

One thing I can think of: Try installing android for x86 pc and then install Shazam app on android. You can keep the Shazam app constantly on and listening
