They are PC speakers and sound as such. Way too much bass and very little detail otherwise. Useful for gamers more than anything else. Not really good for music or movies.

What is your budget and what is your primary usage going to be?

Dear Uttam,

I have the LOGITECH Z-5500 Digital Speakers connected to my DVD player thru the coaxial digital out.

I will give them 4 out of 10 for Movie Sound. They are not good 4 music.
Overall sound quality is bad.

I will not recommend them.

Regards,

Francis

Same is my opinion...

I knew an actual user who then moved to Onkyo 5.1 amp and a speaker set ( He bought my set) ...His opinion was same .....Movies sound not "natural" according to him .... did not ask about music...

Now he migrated from Brand new Z 5500 to partially used system for sound...

But if you b=need for gaming these are one of the best speakers

Also On Board DD & DTS Decoder with Digital Inputs...

From which part of mumbai u r?

Steatch a lil bit you have 3 options
1) Around 21-22 K yamaha AVR + Speakers ( with 6 Inch Active Sub)
2) Around 20 K Onkyo 3100 with passive sub
3) 25 K Harmon Kardon + Jbl with 8 inch active sub ( imho best combo)

also wait as differnt sale of eletronics just started .... so wait for vijay sales ads...

Meanwhile start visiting different stores
