hi everyone,
i am looking fwd to upgrade from my 2 way bookshelves to 3 way speakers (preferably floorstanders) which have a good midrange and tight bass.....can anyone plse suggest?..Budget 10K to 15K.

better to go for BS spkr rather than FS in that range.
whatz your music preference? anyways, im suggesting in general;

1)for rock/pop, go for bass heavy BS.
2)for classical, look out for bs with clean vocals & highs.

spkrs for no.1 > MA M2,Wharf 9.2, PSB alpha B1
for no.2> wharf 9.1,Tannoy F1/V1, wharf 10.1, Q acoustics 1020i

all the above bs have "tight bass" & good mids. But they need to be auditioned before coming to any conclusion.

hey thanks arun....i basically listen to old hindi songs (RD burman), western classical and albums like bonney m ,abba ,ventures,GnR etc....

Its better not to go for a 3 way speaker at this price point, why involve one more cheap crossover?
The Monitor Audio BR2(used) or even an M2 would be a good bet for your requirements.
