Looking for advice for flooring for HT/stereo room

Hi all

Looking for advice for flooring for HT/stereo room.

I have a dedicated room for home theatre and stereo. Both systems are in the same room.
Room size is 13 ft x 23 ft

I now have wall to wall carpet (carpet tiles). There is white colour low-cost tiling under the carpet.
The carpeting is now in state of disrepair and needs to be replaced.
I am wanting to do away with wall to wall carpeting.

Need advice on the options that I can consider.

Best if the new option is in grey or matching darkish colour.

That's what I have right now and it is in rather poor condition.

What about a laminated wood floor (or real wood) with a foam underlay. Too much carpeting can make the room sound dead.

I doubt there is an option other than carpet for sound and light absorption.
