Looking for floor standers for marantz pm 7004 amp

dear friends,

1. bought a MARANTZ PM 7004 amp shortly.

2. hunting for a pair of good 'TOWER SPEAKERS', for the same. i have homed down the following :-

a. polk audio rti a5, a7

b. energy cf-50

c. klipsch rf 62 (but going over budget by 10k ..almost)

3. im staying in hyderabad. my budget is 40k, for a pair.

4. suggestions required:-

a. any good deals available in above speakers, would love to about them.

b. any better suggestions for more speakers in this price range, in this regard.

c. some dealers in hyderabad, dealing with the above, except cinebels, PRO FX AND VECTOR, which i ve already visited.

Why not Mordaunt Short Aviano-6 FS @ 35k, pl audition before you write your cheque, they are made for Marantz amps.

Tannoy V4, its a 5 * ratings (what hi fi ), go well with marantz..should get it around 36

I agree that ms aviano 6 is a superb combo with cambridge or marantz. If I have a chance then I would surely go for it. It is a 2.5 way speakers with very good and balanced sound. Vocals and strings are just superb. I was offered a price of 42k when I auditioned. Finally I went for whafedale 9.5 which costs me 25k. Aviano is a much better deal. You can try aviano 2 as well but those will be in bookshelf form.

Ive been using the Polk Rti series for more than a year now. If you want a speaker for purely music then i would not recommend it. However if its movies and music then look no further. This is an awesome speaker and delivers sound powerfully yet clearly.
