Suggest me some good LCD/LED TV less than 15K for my office room.. Just to use for browsing audio files and to play occasionally movies on it. Viewing distance 5 feet..

Buy Samsung 23 LED monitor. It has extremely good PQ and MRP is just 11k. You can easily get it for 9.5 to 10k in places like SP Road Bangalore with bill and warranty.

Even Acer AOC 23" e2352Phz is good but 3d on 23 inch is kinda useless and Samsung has far better colors and 2D PQ and throwaway price.

Thanks... But it have DVI-d connection not an HDMI and it may not be suitable for connecting my Media player directly. I believe this model may require PC-TV converter to watch regular contents ? Any views on my comments?

I think you should not go for tv you should go for Monitor which wil have hdmi i/p and Component or composite with or without Speaker ( speaker in a monitor im you will really hate it) some option below. LG and Samsung is good

You can easily put a dvi-hdmi adapter and use optical out for audio.

Only if your media player has a HDMI out.
