Hi All

Want to understand wattage game and these days class d / fullydigital small puppy amps
Now that I see great reviews of marantz model m1 ( made in japan / master tuned), will these drive my lumina v 4 ohms
I understand sound signature part compared to class a/b / g and bass being thin ( I guess)
Can learned members help understand theoretically will these amps drive safely without clipping, warmup at moderate volumes ?
If I don't like this can this be used as streamer is signal chain ?
How will it compare to wiim amp, sonos amp, bose music amp - all 125watts and hence questions apply to them as well can they all drive these power hungry speakers at low volumes
Bose music amp I really like esp for the fact I have a subwoofer which can work and if I understand well most power goes into driving bass freq so if we can pass these duties to sub will it be even safer to drive towers without destroying any of my speakers or amps 😀

Issues cropping up with Marantz M1 and Marantz trying to resolve it thru Firmware updates - When I checked online in other forums
So would suggest - google and then decide

The Lumina has similar sensitivity and impedance ratings as my KEF LS50 Meta speakers. The Marantz drives them with absolute ease. Most budget amps have struggled with these speakers in the past. In a blind test I guess it will be difficult to differentiate between the Marantz and any other class AB amp. The Marantz not only has a sub out but separate settings for high pass and low pass filters. However the Model M1 is a streamer /dac/amp rolled into one- you will not be able to just use it as a streamer.
There are some people on ASR forums who have experienced a hum on the amp. Best is to reach out to Anil at Hifimart so that he can address these concerns regarding the hum. I haven’t experienced anything unpleasant so far.
