Matching Amplifier for Heco Victa 301

Hi ALL,

I have ordered Heco Victa 301 Bookshelf speakers. Please Help me to find out matching amp (Budget 15K INR Max).

I am thinking of Norge 1000 Gold. Will it sutable for it?

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Specs are as below

2 way bass reflex
80/150 watts
4-8 ohms
34-38000 Hz

Min Impidance 20 Wats RMS

Advance acoustics 101 costs me around 21000 INR ... is it worth spending 8000 more than norge 1000 ??? I haven't auditioned AA 101 yet but I just want some words from you..

I tested my Heco 200 with Norge 2060 and it was impressive.

200 + 2060 could be a great budget stereo.


I think for my room size 200 + 2060 was enough.

I am not able to turn volume knob more than half for 301 + 1000 combination. .... my window glasses starts vibrating loudly above that ...

btw... do you know exact impedance of your heco speakers ??? specs says its 4-8 ohms ... I need exact value...

Yes. Nominal impedance is like average impedance. The speaker may go down quite a bit below nominal impedance. The impedance depends upon frequency of the sound being played and driver characteristics.

sorry for late reply. I was busy so not able to access forum.


I am very pleased with performance. 301 and 1000 are working like champ.

Initially , I was not able to get best out of 301 for lower volumes, but after around 100 hours of burning I am happy with it.

Compare to wharf 9.2 , mids and lows are very impressive. But Highs are bit dull(comparatively).

My room size is 14 x 18 ft. Volumes is so high that I can't turn knob more than half. If your room is small then go for norge 2060 and save money.

Setup:

Speakers : Heco victa 301 (Amazon.de)
Amp: Norge 1000 Gold (aquarius electronics, Pune )
Source: Pioneer 3022KV DVD player(Yash Audio Visuals Pune), Creative Sound blaster Xfi Sound Card(amazon.com- bought 3years ago from US)
Cables: DAC RCA stereo cable(Aquarius electronics, Pune ).


I mostly listen to A R Rahman Compositions.

Heco Victa 301 cost me for INR 14300 (Including shipping, Import Duty, Credit card currency conversion charges).

Surprisingly Delivered in just 4 days from Germany.

For saving in shipping charges order in bulk from amazon.de. I mean to say ask on forum who else want to buy something from amazon.de and club order.
