In the 2012 audiophile meet in Pune, there was talk about people being interested in meeting more often. How about organising a mid-year meet, say last week of May?

At what time can accommodate HT reviews depends on how many stereo setups we evaluate. Last time we did evaluate a few HT setups after 9:00pm, after about 50% people had left.

What I was saying that the focus can be on HT this time instead of pure audio. This may even attract more crowd. I admit that HT is more challenging to setup and a display device will also be needed.

We'll need a large PDP. Or else does anyone have a portable 1080p projector? I have one, though it's 800x600.

We don't need to focus on video part; only the audio part. So even a 22" TV would do.

Hi all,

Lets wait for getting the venue finalised. Hopefully Viki's offer of that bungalow in the middle of no where materialises, based on which we can plan the rest.

Can someone in Pune get in touch with Viki & take this forward?

Yes, we can plan HT with more gusto & I will try to arrange for few AVR's from my 'contacts' for this purpose. Next required would be a range of BDP's & ofcourse the 5.1 Speaker sets
Again, I can try to arrange a 5.1 set but now we will have to look @ logistics angle seriously but all this once the venue is finalised

HT experts & aficionado's can advise what all they will require & also what all gears can they arrange themselves.

For 2 channel we can concentrate of selective gears that we haven't heard already during the last meet.

Flash is the right person to contact Viki, I believe. Otherwise, we could hire a hotel room like we did for Mumbai meet. If we indeed do plan HT, then hotel may be able to provide a TV also.

1. Will get in touch with Viki and check out if the venue is possible

2. Contrary to popular belief the bungalow with Viki was talking about is around 2.5 Kms from Viki's present address so definitively not on the outskirts of the city

3. I may not be able to make due to excessive work load. However I will help in any way possible.
