I recently got a Mint protractor for my VPI classic 2 TT. I used it to fit the EMT TSD 15 N cart to my VPI JMW 10.5 arm. Initially I used the VPI jig to fit the cartridge and it was playing fine but I was unhappy in some cases since VPI uses only inner null point. Then I got this custom mint protractor and after using it the changes are quite evident with much lesser grove noise and noise floor. Also I noticed enhanced three dimensional presentation of the overall music. Very tedious process to use it but the effort is worth it. Overall it is a good learning experience.
