Mix n Match: Subwoofers with front

Is it possible to mix Floor standing speakers of one brand with rears and sub of other brand. Specifically any suggestions for rears/subwoofer I can match with Monitor Rx6 Front inorder to manage budget. Any suggestions for good subwoofer in 20-30K range

Yes, its possible and will not pose major problem at all.
You should have all the front Left, center right of the same brand. Left and Right should be same model. Surround speakers can be different brand, just make sure all the surrounds are same model.

He meant, you can have a different brand for surrounds, but ensure right and left surrounds are of same model.

Check Velodyne subwoofers. You can get a 12" Velodyne for 25K.
