Hi there,

I've got a Yamaha RX-V675 AV Receiver and I'm looking to purchase a set of 5.1 Speakers, of no more than 300. I can get two below for that price exactly but I can't pick between them.

Monitor Audio Vector - x4 V10's (Fronts/Rears), x1 V20 (Centre) and x1 VW-8 (Sub). 299.95 - brand new (5 year warranty).
Detailed specs (page 11): http://www.monitoraudio.co.uk/assets/files/brochures/vector.brochure.pdf

Q Acoustics 2000 - x2 2010's (Rears), x2 2020's (Fronts), x1 2000C (Centre) and x1 2070S (Sub). 300 - 3 years used.

I'm in a real dilemma here, both of these look like superb Speakers. I watch a lot of movies with friends/family like Transformers, Batman, Avengers and also R&B/Rap/Hip-Hop music occasionally ect.. and have recently bought the Sony KDL50W829 LED TV, I'm looking for great sound to go with it.

Please advise me, consider everything in these two packages, dB's, Frequency, Drivers and the size/amount of the drivers, which will go 'lower' and louder?

What would you go for?

Thanks in advance!

Let me add some pics of where the Speaker package will go.

I want to determine without demo'ing them as I don't have a retailer near me that sells these new. Which of these two Speaker sets I've specified will be loud/deep enough to fill the room when I turn up the volume on my AVR to a favourite scene in Transformers or Fast and Furious and 'wow' my family and friends.

Some people will be able to look at those specs in the brochure and see certain things that are significant differences between the two the same way when I compare computers/laptops.

Do you think the Sony N7100 All In One System will fill my room more than the combo I have suggested above?

Haven't heard the Vectors. But did audition the QA 2000 with a Denon 2213. Don't go by the size. That sub goes really down. The setup sounded very, very good.

I do like the look of the Q Acoustics 2000 too, the 2000i are very expensive. Question is do I grab the Q Acoustics 2000 has been used for 2 years for 200 or go for brand new set of Monitor Audio Vectors 5.1 + free 5yr warranty?

If you take a look at both brochures for me, what do you think of the MA Vectors?

It's the 2010's for Fronts/Rears, no 2020 Bookshelves.
