I had almost believed that the M/B had died since I changed the SMPS but it was of no use. And as i said earlier my other PC's SMPS conked off due to the damn humidity
But this time GOD was kind enough. The PC would not power on due to a slightly loosely fitted CPU. Thanks to the experienced engieer who came to know about the fault in no time.
