moving about heavy speakers

I'm living with the Cadence Arca, each speaker weighing over 100kg. To top it off, they have height-adjustable spikes. There are days when I consider building a sleek metal stand with wheels, but then the fear of compromising the sound creeps in.

any suggestions...

You can replace the spikes with Herbies threaded gliders or use the existing spikes with Herbies spike cups, the brass version.

Will help you move the speakers easily. And in all probability use of Herbies threaded gliders or spike cups will improve the sound.
