My advice would be simply this: Don't believe everything you read online.
If something matters enough to you, listen yourself and then make your call.

From the time I read Meridian's press release about the MQA (which I believe was a masterpiece in obfuscation), my bullshit detector perked up immediately. I still see no reason why we should lower our collective scepticisms.

Oh that's an understatement. MQA is so full of BS it's not funny.

I give them credit for creating their filter "recipe" which gives a nice relaxing sound which many will like. But to then make everyone jump thru myriad hoops - from the studios to the DAC manufacturers and finally the end customers - for something so trivial is ridiculous.
