My affordable LM3886 DIY amplifier.

Hi all,
More cheap :p fun added. Built a bypassable Tone control and DIY'ers popular CNC Phono Preamp(This was lying around loose). This will also be on sale to make funds for new project.

some details
Preamplifier 3 copy.jpg
(1) Chinese tone control board (2) CNC Phono PS (3) CNC Phono Preamp (4) RF Blocking capacitor
from common ground to chassis ground (5) Insulating sheet between board and metal chassis (6) Magnetic shield
(7) Separate Transformer for Phono preamp

As I didn't have shielded wire I used Signal and ground separate, twisted wire for each input.

(8) Mechanical Selector switch from old amplifier (From DIY audio member) (9) 6 Pin Tone defeat switch . As Tone preamp is alwasy ON Used 6 pin switch which lifts signal+ground wire for both channels
(10) Power supply wire kept floated as below it are phono signal wires (11) Though wires stay put to chassis I fixed few cable organisers.

Indicator light on front amplifier plate is taken from tone control board.

Preamplifier and power amplifier. I tried to keep aesthetics of both the same.

My total build cost was around 5000/- (Only material cost)
Sources for materials (this may help diyers)
~Cabinet, RCA Sockets, Front plate, Feets, Screws, One transformer, Hookup wires, Heatshrink, fuse holder, Power switch etc. are from local sellers.
~Tone Preamplifier board, Phono Transformer, Cable organiser are from Amazon.
~Volume and tone knobs are from Gtech Audio. Tamil Nadu
~Mechanical Selector Switch is from DIYAudio Member
~6 Pin Push Tone defeat switch is from Matha Electronics Cochin

I have put single RF blocking ceramic cap on common one channel ground of all inputs as Keith had recommended in last build. If any rectification is required do tell.
Thanks and regards

Looks neat and well laid out. If you look at my preamplifier, it's a wiring mess due to my constant tinkering and R&D, but the noise level is not been measurable by either my DMM or by my Visual analyser PC based tool. It must be below 0.1 mV - my guess

Your build looks clean and very professional. Very inspiring. Thank you for posting it.
