My favorite 50k setup

this is what i came up with

for a simple yet pleasurable setup

enjoy music - no nonsense
no audiophile jig jag

works in my home
measure 5 inches by 6 inches
good WAF - slim and sexy
non obstrusive

needs a small amp (an entry level 40 w marantz or NAD drives it well - In fact a t amp would also drive it - however it may not do scale)
gives you super imaging and cohenrence
Late night JAzz and slow rock is amazing
does classical well but without the obvious scale

its a full ranger sent from Denmark in a quarter wave transmission line design with a BSC - design sent by Bjorn ( Denmark )
i love it
For me its a home run in 50k ( speakers ,cables ,electronics all included )

How's the bass response then?

I'm asking this coz I'm sort of interested in a fullranger build and a bit put off by the small drivers.

Bjorns measurements show 45hz
In the TL

I have no measuring devices
So I can't really confirm

Though
Bjorn is pretty accurate


If you're a bass head though
You will always miss a sub

The driver is meant for easy listening
Lounge
Jazz
Slow rock
Classical without the scale


I would bet money
That a sealed 8 inch sub
Mated with this would be killer
