I had bought a 2 way passive speaker sometime back. Although I’ve been happy with the performance of my old denon avr but I can felt something was missing. That’s where I decided to dabble in DIY. I scour the internet to find someone who makes authentic stuff as I didn’t want to buy from aliexpress. Found many on diyaudio but I wanted someone local and luckily came across these Onb guys, although initially not sure if i should proceed with these guys as they operate on a very small level. But their commitment for quality was beyond compare. It took them some time to design, develop, prototype the product before it’s finally ready. The tests that they were performing on the modules gave me the assurance that these guys know their stuff and have enough professional experience. I had option to choose from their three variants of amps 60W, 150W & 350W; I decided 150W will be best suited for mine. I was really surprised at the small size of 150W module. For the size, it really provided great output. Since it was a DIY product, I had my own doubts on the quality of output but the Amp successfully delivered. I was astonished by the thundering lows, detailed mids, and very crisp highs as if it breathed a new life to my speakers. I was taken aback by the soothing music that transcended as if i could connect to the music which was lacking previously. I never really get the chance to really turn up my speaker cons of living in Mumbai I guess, but I think the modules have enough grunt to shake up the whole house .What saved up lot of my time and efforts were the fact that this compact PCB came with all inbuilt protection circuit. I have done a lot of screw-up’s while assembling the amplifiers but the amp never failed , god knows how many times I have shorted the output wires to ground (yes I'm still in learning mode there) ......but the amp always went in protection .....

I cannot emphasize more on the fact that for the size at which these guys are operating, the product quality and pricing were really amazing. And although I myself am not such a hard core audiophile, they helped me understand and feel music much better...

KUDOS to you guys ,

On the side note can anyone help me in sourcing good looking cabinets for my amp modules?

Any help will be much appreciated

I am a bit confused. Are you sourcing the raw material from the Onb guys and building the amp yourself or the Onb people are doing it for you. If possible, kindly share the contact details of the Onb people.

For now they have provided module and I'm building my Amp on my own
However I think they also provide Amps

Congrats !

We need more details. Who is "Onb guys" and what kind of amp is that?

Thanks

These operate on small scale right now and provide DIY Amps/speakers. I'll share you contact details. Quite energetic people!

For Amp, I'm trying to build a 2 channel amp. And still looking for chassis. Let me know in case you have leads there

We have to be careful when sourcing for the right materials to use. Low quality materials could ruin our DIY designs and plans. However, when engaging into DIY projects, taking risks is among the considerations. I wish you luck and hope to see the wonderful result soon. I hope to have the courage to start my own Amp project soon.
