Could you tell me where you sourced the materials. I too am in Chennai and would like to try doing one.

Sourced all in pondicherry in a hardware store and mdf from timber shop. U can get all this easily in chennai

I would probably prefer acrylic or glass instead of mdf

Threaded rod are avaiable in hardware store in 1 meter length.i brought rs150 for 1 meter.and the nuts also abaliable .rs 200 per kg.check with local hardware store
