dear experts,
I am new to diy speakers. I want to build my own bookshelf speakers with peerless india drivers. Its a trial project where i want to learn the art. Later on I am going to build 3-way with two bass drivers.
I would like to have your expert opinion and suggestions on the design made. The design is attached as a pdf file for your perusal.
Kindly take time to go through and offer your suggestions. If any queries/ additional info is needed, pl post the same. I will be obliged to reply.
regards..
Dear all, since the forum has allowed me only 230kb space, here is the link for the complete ppt file.

There is BS model built by bijin/bibin in this forum. Did you check as he posted the details regarding the build as well as the crossover schematic. It would be easy to follow for the first time DIY effort rather than building it from scratch.

dear all, just checked the above link. it works perfectly...

Thanks for your suggestion. The thing is I want to learn the art and even if end up with wrong speakers that dont work well, it doesnt matter. they will be my experimental set up. If this first design doesnt work well, then I want to attack each and individual components , first the box volume and port and get it right by placing barcing to get the correct frequency and then I want to work on cross overs by trial and error till it sounds right. And of course there is that satisfaction of doing it yourself which will not come if you try to copy from others without the know how... I believe in " do it the hard way, even if its wrong, because it will teach you ", I dont believe in over-night sensation-kit, where everything is provided to you and you just have to assemble the kit. I am an automotive engineer, and day in and day out, I am trying to find solutions to engine performance issues. because of all the above reasons I want to do it myself. anyway thanks for your suggestions...

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
