Dear Members
Posting in this forum after a very long time. I'm in the midst of constructing a dedicated AV room. Prior to this I had a modest audio only setup comprising of Emotiva USP1 + UPA2 + KEF Q900 + Mac Mini based Digital Transport/DAC
My planned purchases/planned setup is as follows.
1. 4K Projector
2. 4 Atmos Speakers (2 Ceiling, 2 rear)
3. 1 centre channel speaker
4. 1 subwoofer
5. AVR - Marantz Cinema 70S (largely in preout mode with the Atmos ceiling speakers being driven by internal amplification)
6. Power Amp - XPA-5 (for driving LRC and the two rear speakers - getting it pre-owned at a good deal.
7. LR Speakers - Q900 (same as the audio chain)
8. Source - Digital transport (same as the audio chain).
Whilst I'm very keen to retain as much of the pure audio chain and existing equipment as possible, I wanted to seek the opinion of the esteemed forum members on the best way to seamlessly integrate the video component.
