" mysqueezebox.com " server down ?

To the SB owners .

Anyone facing issues with the SBT being unable to connect to logitech servers ? My SBT links up with the wifi modem and then comes up with the message " there is a problem connection to mysqueezebox.com ".

Diags has gone thru fine with no issues what so ever. Apparently a lot of users from Europe and USA have reported problems in the last 15 hrs.

Damn I cant live without my radio playing when am home and working . The local radio only dishes out horse crap and buy this buy that and we will come home and do your dishes types nonsense.

Nothing happening for me. But what effect it has on radio ? I listen only on my NAS .

Will Squeezebox soon join World Space on the family heirloom shelf?

Logitech seems to have officially discontinued the whole Squeezebox line and replaced it with "Smart Radio". I wonder what the Squeezebox line was supposed to be? "Dumb radios"? Logitech has promised to keep the Squeezebox server running. But for how long? Hopefully forever. But possibly until the new baby has had a trouble free birth and the older one has quietly been buried. My wife is a passionate radio fan. She spent many months mourning the demise of World Space. She is slowly waking up to the reality that she may soon be mourning the demise of her Squeezebox Boom. I hope it dosen't happen. But if it does, I would personally not want to buy a smart radio or any other Logitech product again.

Phew relieved now, it's back up and running. Being a music buff , the sb touch has become an addiction and an integral part of my daily life.

Smart as in appearance, not inteligence

Apparently they viewed the Squeezebox range as being techie and elite, and therefore having a very limited market. Stupid, and sad.
