Need a new amp

My NAD 320 has died for the 2nd time and I need to buy something new.

I am confused as to whether I should buy another stereo amp or joint the AVR crowd.

I have PS Image B15 speakers and a PSB Alpha Subzero

I know all the arguments about AVR sound quality being lower than stereo amps.
Since I have never seriously listened to home theater amps guide me, I am looking for a home theater amp that is at least as good as the NAD 320 for stereo and the rest of the time I can use it for movies.

Budget is about 20k but perhaps I could stretch it a bit further if there is something really worth it.

if you have only 2 speakers why do you want an avr amp. psb and nad are sister concerns and pair very well. imo stick to a nad. i can guarantee you that the sq with a nad will be way better than the likes of an avr denon / hk / yamaha. you can also check out the marantz / cambridge if youre looking for variation
