How much you paid for schiit including customs.By the way how and where do we pay customs duty on things we order online?

I had a friend order it in US and carry it for me. It is a small item. $149 (unit cost) + $10 (shipping to US address); about 10.5K
No customs, because it was well within the 45K limit.

One FM in Delhi (HFV handle: Vinay2013) who is contemplating this model, calculated the landed cost if directly ordering to be around 13.5K.
He may be able to fill you in on more details on landed cost.

On schiit modi website, they are asking to chose a plug for the DAC .There are four options like 115v us plug,230v UK plug,230v euro plug or 230v Australian plug.Which is suitable for India.
please help.

230V Euro will go directly into our wall sockets.
They are the kind that come these days with our mobiles (the slightly smaller dia 2 or 3 prong version). Frankly, I find them a pain to use with universal sockets found in extension cords.

The one I got (my friend made a mistake while ordering) was the 230V UK plug.
It still works with extension cords that have universal sockets. I kind of like this plug, it makes very good contact with the socket.
