Need help buying my first Audio setup in tight budget

I am not sure how would you connect these to your TVs as most of them in the budget will come with RCA only. Do they still give RCA on TVs?

Regardless - check something LIKE THESE - https://www.amazon.in/PreSonus-Eris...e=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&th=1. (just an example)

This is a monitor with 4.5 inch mid/woofer driver, comes with BT so ease of connecting music directly & has the option to tweak the sound a little to your taste.

You can try and look for similar products - there are many companies that make them - from the pro world - it will be PreSonus, Mackie.
Form consumer world maybe edifier in this budget.
... just a point chander, I visited the link where it says it for near field listening. If our member wants to hook it to the TV, then for sure the distance must be around +7 feet. Hope it serves the purpose. Nevertheless PreSonus is a respected brand on the audio horizon.

I had come across these but like you said these are not popular and am not able to find any reviews on them. Are these any better from other mass market home theatre systems?
Yes, I agree. You may check the reviews for other models. They have pretty good reviews. It's on sale for Rs.8.5K now and I am confident that you won't be disappointed.

Firstly, thank you for your suggestions and I apologize for the delayed response I was not a hectic travelling.
Infact thats what I thought given the budget am aware that I dont have a lot of options. So I was considering the a decent active bookshelf speaker over the junky Htib.

I had a look at Norge speakers but I dont see any powered speaker (subject to correction). Are they better than powered edifiers?

I will now actively look at used market as well.

I am currently considering

https://amzn.in/d/6rTpDIA Edifier Studio Series Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers
https://amzn.in/d/fTC9guB Jbl Professional 306Pmkii-Eu

Please advice if there are good for the money or should I look at other speakers.

The Kali LP6 v2 is what I'd pick. Excellent monitors! My second choice would be the JBL 306p mk2.

Never heard of Kali audio
The other two brands are fine
Norge have separate speaker and amplifier units that are within your budget. Check their website
Kali Audio was founded by people who were senior engineers in JBL. They wanted to go beyond what the JBL 305/306/308 series monitors were capable of (and from what I've read, they also did not want to work under the corporate restrictions in the design of those products that they were limited to). The original Kali LP6 was their first product.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
