Hi guyz,

Finally i have decided to get the HT in 1 or 2 days. But i need your valuable inputs.


I m confused between Onkyo 3500 and Denon 1312 XP

1. Onkyo HT-3500 cost around Rs.28000
2.Denon 1312XP cost around Rs.29000 in chennai.

Please help me to choose the right one.. I auditioned both. I felt Onkyo 3500 has better punch for movies where denon giving a decent output for both music and movies.

Does Onkyo have pre-out ? Is so I would recommend that.

Both are very good systems. Go with the one which has an active subwoofer.

thanks for the response .. I m not sure abt the pre out. But we can expand to 7.1 ...

Only your EARS can end you confusion.

Take your favorite movies / music and listen to both the Denon and Onkyo. Pick the one that sounds better to your ears.
