Need Help with P42U30D

Hi Friends,
I recently brought TH-P42U30D 42" plasma. I am facing an unique problem. I am not able to watch movies from my portable hard disk (250GB) and my SD card(2GB). But when the service man has come he is able to play movies from both his USB pendrive and SD memorycard.
Need your help on this.
By the ways is there any official panasonic forum. Please let me know

Please check the formats of files in your HDDs. Panasonic supports only a few file types. You need a good media player to play all the files.
