Hi All,
I am planing to buy my 1st Home Theatre. I am looking for some advise:
1. How is TAGA HARMONY TAV-606 V3 ? can i mount 2 of the speakers on roof/wall.
2. Can you suggest some good AVR? Looking for one with bluetooth connectivity
My budget for the over all setup is 50-60K.

I recently bought Taga 606 v3 SE and Pioneer VSX 531. Whole setup costs me 56k. Rear speakers and center speakera you can mount on the wall. Front speakers are tower.

I am using 606 v3 with denon 1300. They are good and you can mount on wall.

Thanks. How is the overall sound quality? How big is your room where you have done this setup? Can you share some photos of the setup?

@gokuljawahar thanks for your suggestion. I have few more ques:
1. Do you think the AVR do the justice or you think AMP is required.
2. Does this speakers comes with sufficient wires?
3. On amazon i see there is v606 v3 special edition, any idea how is it different?
4. Any idea, where can i experience these in Bangalore ?

I feel the AVR in just enough to power these speakers. But i get good sound when i keep the volume at around 50 ( max is 75)

2. Does this speakers comes with sufficient wires?

Nope, the speaker wont come with wires. you have to get it separately. I got 16AWG wire from amazon ( amazon basics)

3. On amazon i see there is v606 v3 special edition, any idea how is it different?

Well, the Special edition is bit more powerful, especially the towers. SE can take upto 150W when normal can take upto 120W only.

4. Any idea, where can i experience these in Bangalore ?

No idea about Bangalore. I am from Chennai. I put an inquiry in Taga website and the dealers called me. May be you should also do it.

You can check these speakers out at the following places:

The Home Theater Store
1st Floor, SMR Mansion, No:28, Nrupathunga nagar,
JP Nagar 7th Phase, Bangalore-560078

Jamsticks
46/5, Rose Garden Road, 38th Main, J P Nagar 6th phase, Bengaluru, Karnataka

Home theater systems are all going to have different benefits. Start with how nice you want your system to be, what your budget is, and how big your room is that you want to place the system.

Considering these will get you the most out of your home theatre setup

  1. Room size
  2. Av receiver
  3. Connectivity options
  4. Speakers and cable (if going custom)
  5. Rms power of amplifier and speakers
  6. Subwoofer
These I think are the most basic things to check before buying
