Abt speakers u can try Martin Logan MLT2 as well.....

By the way you can also get Yamaha 373 for $200.
Of course, Indian version is safer with warranty.

Depends from person to person.
Polks are smaller than Takes. So for a smaller room, even polk might do the job.

Most satellite systems are tuned for movies.
For music I think you need to look at adding some bigger speakers to the front.

Go for Yamaha RX-V673, its not only the "Dialog Lift" or "Vdo upscaling", its the circuitary or amplification stages that are improved in 673. Approx. 36000/- for 673 is not bad But you may have to compromise on warranty. As fa as prices in india are concerned they are not going to be as down as this ..ever! Try buying older 671..not one will let you for less than 32K.
