Need Suggestion..

I have searched a lot about LED vs LCD and that has only got me further confused. Have read a lot about backlit with local dimming being better as compared to edge lit etc etc....
But at the end is it worth buying an LED TV from the available lot ?

Also, how good are LG in LCD/LED TV's? Heard a lot good about Samsung....
I am looking out for a 40/42 inch TV and have a budget of INR 70000 In that range I have found LED of LG (42LE5300/7500) and Samsung UA40L6200
Also in the LCD part I have been looking at Samsung LA40C550 and LG42LD460/550.

I am not sure how Plasma goes along with the above in comparison.

i would buy the plasma over the lcd any day. much more natural colours. the led is again very superior in its technology but depends if you feel its worth the extra price. it also depends what sort of media you would be using. is it just normal dish tv or do you have hdtv or plan on watching blue ray etc etc

Can you suggest any Full HD Plasma thats available. As of now its just going to be normal Cable content. Also will be connecting a DVD player to it (looking out for one with hdmi o/p)
