Need to do the speakers cabling work ahead.

I am planning to setup home theater in my upcoming flat. Also right now I am doing my interiors so can I do speakers cabling work ahead since it will get concealed. Also from where and which cable should I buy or setup for future use. Also is it good idea to do this investment or will it result in some incompatibility in future.

For surrounds, you can go for 16 gauge oxygen free cable like DAC, audio quest, moster, etc.

you can lay the conduits for now and do the cabling once the flat is ready. You need to decide keeping the future configuration in mind 5.1,7.1,9.2.2 etc

Plan for Network cabling (Cat 6) as well. Hard wired works best as you build your HT than Wifi....
