Hi Guys,
Recently moved into my new house a day ago, and i bought some 762 strand 6mm speaker wire to connect my creative Gigaworks S750's with. Now i have wired everything up and there are some damn problems as usual, i split each signal from each speaker (postive and negative) via a 1 male to 2 female RCA adapter as the subwoofer is the amp with 7 single RCA ports on the back. Now i soldered every joint and rechecked, even resoldered some joints on my phono plugs, so they are all working correctly, but somethings just not right.
At less than normal volume(i can barely here the music or whatever i am playing to test the speakers) the subwoofer will start to pop at a certain limit and the speakers will start crackling like crazy, another problem is that some of the speakers will stutter or produce little pops whilst playing, but not all of them do it, and finally the rear speakers have none, or little volume being produced out of them.
Could this be something to do with the fact that the wire is too much for these speakers, or is something else producing this? I need help ASAP because its doing my head in!!!
Cheers
