That i agree.But,it picked up virtually no external noise and i couldnt tell the difference between it and a FIIO cable while playing flacs.
Using a braided CAT5 cable as a lead in for my amp from a opamp based preamp is a whole different story.It caused instability and i am told(on head-fi) that its due to my rather over enthusiastic braiding causing it to have high capacitance.
