Looks worth an upgrade with out of box 3d support.

Plus I need a ST projector where I save in HDMI cable cost and also it doesnt affect the roof installation.

I have a fan at 12 feet and since 720p projectors need to be kept farther than 1080p to get same image I want to avoid the clash with fan interrupting the projector throw.

If you need short throw, then go for BenQ, the placement of PJ also depends on the screen size you want to achieve. If you download the manual of the PJ it has a diagram which explains the throw distance.

There are enough reviews for 5360, basically this is same as 710st and 770st for Benq, that is 3d and 3d ready.

looks RBE to me can you check at 14:00 mins or so.

If these are indeed rainbow then this one is out of contention...

Nope that is not RBE, that is happening across the entire screen. RBE usually happens in high bright/ contrast areas.
