It does not come with automatic mic or automatic calibration.

@[email protected] - Measure the distance from each speaker to the sitting/listening position and enter the same in the AVR settings. You can leave the speakers at 0 or increase and find your comfort zone. Use a digital coaxial cable from the DVDP to the AVR, the default RCA (red+white) cables are no use especially from a budget DVDP. Subwoofer sounds best between 100-120 for this model of Onkyo.
