HI,
this is srinivas from mumbai. can anyone help in getting a good hometheater. my budget for speakers upt 50 to 60k. and also on a good amp for the speakers.

In your budget, there are quite a few choices...

Just shortlist a few brands, and start auditioning them one by one...

But make sure to take your own Audio & Video CDs (Original ones)...
so that you can make out the differences....

Ones you are done with them, kindly post your experience...so that we can enhance the same into a good Home Theatre...

etc...

HTiBs (All)!!! ......Mridul not all are true audiophile looking for a pure bliss high end system. Infact most of us do go for HTiBs in the OP's budget.

sspatniak I went for Onkyo 6200 for an <50K budget and I am loving it from all ends. Solid performance for the price. If you want seperate route, I would suggest Polk Audio(RM-6750) for Spks and DENON(1610) for AVR. The combination should land <= 60K
