no audio from eac3 enabled channels from satellite receiver

Hello folks,
i am facing a strange issue
my mpeg4 set top box is connected to toshiba 55m550lp through hdmi cable,channels with ac3 audio or mpeg1 stream play & sound well but when eac3/dolby digital plus audio stream is selected no audio output from television.
although the tv is dolby atmos supported.
can anyone help me on this?

Does the TV have ARC or eARC?

Edit: Just checked the specs. It doesn't have HDMI 2.1 and eARC. So eAC3 and DD+ will not work.

Toshiba 55m550lp has 3 hdmi ports 1st one is for ARC,ALLM,VRR support...no eARC & HDMI 2.1 support
Although while going through sound setting options i found dd+ but enabling it did'nt do any wonders
did i made a mistake buying this tv..?
