No PC mode for Sony in HDMI?

Just heard from a friend that the W550A doesn;t support PC mode via HDMI and hence exhibits very much blurred text.Is this the same model as we get from Sony officially here in India?

So, is Samsung the only choice as far as PC usage is concerned?

AFAIK, PC mode is what reduces the lag in a PC game.It disables the 100Hz motion to do so i think.

PC mode is ideally for D-sub input.
Many times HDMI is treated as video mode ,so proper resolution(720 OR 1080p)solves the problem.

well actually the PC mode is for better looking TEXT.for gaming and videos u won't have problem u can set it to video/game mode.
the W550A supports PC mode via D sub only.
