Guys I need help , I made a subwoofer cabinet with mdf which is a non water proof , I want to cover it with sunmica and fevicol but the carpenter is telling that it will spoil the mdf wood ...what should I do ?....any other options to cover the cabinet ?.....please help me

I don't understand your carpenter. I've built so many cabinets with MDF and then glued Sunmica ( laminate ) on it using Fevicol. I have one right in front of me that was made about 16 years ago ! This is a good time to do it when the MDF is really dry in the hot weather.
If you keep it lying around exposed through the humid days they will eventually loose their dense structure and the surface gets softened. I have a cabinet here that has become like that since it was not laminated. It's a test box so it's OK. Now I can't reliably laminate it ! Hopefully your MDF is relatively new. The surface should not not have become puffy or powdery .
Your option is to primer it /sand it/ and spray paint it. Can produce some nice results. Glossy car paint requires many coats and lot's of work to come out really well. Alternately semi glossy matt finish with enamel is also OK.

Best to my knowledge, MDF can be very well laminated using formica/sunmica using fevicol.
There might be a reason your carpenter is saying no.... reason could be, due to white fevicol which is water based, MDF may change its shape, mostly after applying fevicol and formica, MDF tend to turn little curvy.
Then another option is rather than using regular fevicol, it can be pasted using fevicol SR, it is synthetic based bonding agent and it dries fast and lasts equally good.
another option as suggested by Fantastic, spray painting it, either you use duco paint (used for car's body painting) but as said its time and effort taking. If not duco, then spraying luster also works fine but you wont get much glossy finish, but lasts long. i have luster roller painted floor standing. But are semi gloss.
One more option is buying a vinyl laminate, many color options are available and its kind of sticker which you paste on MDF. you can check diyaudiocart.com or ebay.in as well.
I have seen vinyl laminated speakers and look equally nice.

You can use Sunmica and fevicol without any problem, as everybody said here. A different thought is, you could spray paint your cabinet inside out with the help of car-painter and you are good with a smooth plastic looking surface. This will keep your MDF and cabinet safe for longer period.

I have used sunmica & veneer laminate on various DIY projects. Use Fevicol SH for best results, all you need is a good carpenter. For all my speaker projects i use wood veneer laminate, have a look.

NO Problem!
It is also used on regular wood/ply furniture which is also not waterproof except for certain categories.
Fevicol SR is a rubber based glue. Needs to be done properly to glue well. Can be very messy !
Fevicol SH meant for wood is easier to use and takes a long time to dry. You need to keep the parts in contact under light pressure till it dries. Usually overnight.
You do get Fevicol Speedx which is the faster drying version ( Earlier called Fevicol Rapid). The package says press parts together immediately. Finish application and mating parts within 10 minutes. Apply pressure for at least 2 hours. Fully dries in less than half the time that SH takes. Rs 204 per Kg ! Small shops may not stock it.
