Nothing else mattersMetallica is coming.who will be there???

Hi,

I have one pass for their Bangalore show available with me. Had got for one of my friends who has dropped out. I would prefer local pick up in Mumbai, but can also hand it over at the venue (Palace grounds) if any one confirms. Buying price: Rs. 2750, going for same, no less no more.

I will leave for Bangalore on 28th eve and reach on 29th.

PM me if interested.

Is this true ! ?????

What is the logic behind this rule ??

They allow a myriad verity dangerous propulsions and rockets of questionable quality to be fired by careless teenagers during Diwali. Very strange rule !

Yup, its true. Like JK said, Bruce Dickinson himself mentioned it during Maiden's last show in Bangalore.

Also, RoC mentioned that at Rock in Rio, Metallica did not play anything from St Anger or Death Magnetic. Let's hope it stays that way!

Gates open at 3PM!

From the Abu Dhabi show yesterday. We should expect the same!

@joseph, the show is supposedly starting at 8, not at all sure of it and the opening acts confirmed as of now are Inner Sanctum from Bangalore, a scottish rock band whose name I can't remember and then its METALLICAAA.. Sadly both the opening acts are a disappointment according to me.. I really wanted the old school Millennium to open for Metallica with Roberto pounding on those drums.. Man what a gig they played at Megadeth..

The set list is awesome.. Just cant wait to be there.. I have been listening to all the cds again and again..

and yea really looking forward to meeting fellow HFV members at the venue.. So how do we meet up??

Only sad part will be the "no pyrotechnics" rule India has for live shows.

Is this true ! ?????

What is the logic behind this rule ??

Yup, its true. Like JK said, Bruce Dickinson himself mentioned it during Maiden's last show in Bangalore.

Evidently the blokes do not know how to handle our Police and Fire Department;)

They would've left it to the local event manager to handle that.

Should've engaged a local power broker instead.

News from rediff::::sad:

Tech snag hits Metallica's concert, fans go wild:

Ok, here's some bad news for all you head-bangers out there. MTV India tweeted a little while ago that the Metallica gig scheduled to be held in Gurgaon today evening stands cancelled due to a technical snag. It's now been pushed to 4 pm tomorrow at Leisure Valley.

Man this sucks big time!!!

Why do we keep repeating these scenario's???

Just hope the gig in gurgaon is not cancelled all together which appears to be the case!

Hope they atleast play in palace grounds on the 30th

majorly angry/pissed off/disappointed/upset!!!

The blame rests squarely on the shoulders of the organizers. Someone should publish the address/phone/email-addresses of all the DNA staff involved. Even a few broken windows would be nice. If someone can hack their network, all the better. Unless they are made to pay, they wouldn't change.

So true captrajesh, it should have been the best thing that happened to all the metalheads this year. Now its anxiety, chaos, concerns all around..

Real Sad..

It was a great show last night probably the best ever in Bangalore. And we had the fire too :yahoo:

The band played for almost 2.5hrs and the crowd was ecstatic. Its bad that the north missed the show.

The gig was kickass.. Just back to my hometown, my neck pains, my body's bruised, i was soaked in mud.. All for one band, I have been waiting since ages for this.. It was intense, blackened, welcome home, seek and destroy, master of puppets, 18 songs..more than 2 hours.. Next stop SLAYER.. Hope that becomes a reality
