Hi -

I'm running a Creek Audio 4340 integrated and KEF Q300 speakers. I don't have a full-size DAC for my setup yet, but I had this NuForce uDAC-2 headphone amplifier for my headphones. It is equiped with RCA output, so I thought I might be able to use it in the interim.

I'm going from PC to uDAC-2 (via USB) to Integrated Amplifier (via RCA).

Anyways, it sounds awful. Is this too be expected?

Going from PC to Integrated (via mini-RCA) sounds a ton better.

No something's not right. I have the same combo. Laptop to USAF by USB, then USAF to integrated amp by RCA. There's a huge difference in output and I am enjoying it. Check your cables and input at amp level.
I am using ken wood a85 amp with wharf eve 8

Quick update: I'm now using the CD input instead of the AUX input on my amplifier and everything is sounding nice. The AUX input seems to be the culprit - its distorted with anything connected to it.

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
