"On ear" Headphones in the 250 $ category

I recently got myself a B&W P5..am very very impressed. folds flat for travel, has a microphone and pretty effective sound isolation !

And its Bass/midrange is sublime

I second the B&W on-ear headphone series. Compared a bunch when buying for my son (I'm the audiophile in the family ) and selected the b&w p3 which is below your $$ limit (money saved! ).

Open natural sound that doesn't hammer at you with one dimensional bass.

Just heard the Harman kardon NC (active). its accoustic and electronic NC is amazing and so is its SQ.
Its a bit Bass shy compared to the B&Ws (not broken in) but its comfort/Build quality is amazing and the Noise Cancellation is the Best i have heard. and at 17K its a pretty good deal IMHO.

Might have preferred it to the B&W if i knew about them only due to the NC..
